Crime Prevention and Justice Assistance Division
CPJAD serves as the central agency to provide the Attorney General, the chief law enforcement officer of Hawaii, with the information and resources needed to address crime and crime prevention.

Criminal Justice Division
The Criminal Justice Division performs all prosecutorial functions on behalf of the state such as welfare fraud, tax fraud, unemployment fraud, unauthorized practice of law, and public corruption. The Missing Child Center-Hawaii is part of this division and is Hawaii's only clearinghouse that assists in the recovery of missing or abducted children. This division also administers the State's asset forfeiture program.

Hawaii Internet and Technology Crimes Unit
The Hawaii Internet & Technology Crimes (HITeC) Unit was established by the Attorney General of the State of Hawaii to assist the citizens in Internet and technology related crimes. The HITeC Unit combines Local, State, and Federal Law Enforcement resources in addressing two forms of technology related crimes.

Tobacco Enforcement Unit
The Tobacco Enforcement Unit is charged with enforcing and implementing the terms of the Tobacco Master Settlement Agreement, the State's Tobacco Liability Act (Haw. Rev. Stat., Chapter 675), and related statutes. The Unit is also statutorily responsible for the enforcement of Haw. Rev. Stat., Chapter 245 pertaining to: Cigarette Taxation, Export and Foreign Cigarettes ("Gray Market" cigarettes), and other tobacco related statutes.
