Deborah Turrell Atkinson (Visit this link)

Deborah Turrell Atkinson lives in Honolulu with her husband and their two teenage sons. She is a graduate of the University of Michigan and spent ten years traveling around the Hawaiian Islands as a pharmaceutical representative for Eli Lilly and Company before she "retired" to write and raise her children.

Debby is a freelance contributor to Island Scene Magazine, editor of 'Elele, the 'Iolani 'Ohana newsletter, and is a recipient of the University of Hawaii's Myrle Clark award for Creative writing. She is a graduate of the Iowa Writer's Workshop and her first mystery novel, Primitive Secrets, was published by Poisoned Pen Press in October, 2002.
